- "Dub Side of the Moon" by the Easy Star All Stars - Jan 27.05
First review; and as you all probably guessed, this cd is the dub versions of Pink Floyd's mythical "Dark Side of the
Moon". I'm always sceptical about remixes... . But this cd has its moments; if you like dub, old school one-drop reggae and
Pink Floyd. All the original tracks have been kept. Worth a spin if you're ever with Sophia and need a lighter, slightly
happier version of Pink Floyd's original opus. The highlight of the cd (as it was with the original) is Money; same
track but in dub, with a thick Jamaican voice singing to end the track. And I think we can all appreciate the bubbling
sound replacing the cash register sound at the beginning.
Overall, not the best cd ever, but worth a try if you liked Dark Side of the Moon.
